Sleep Disorders and Craniofacial Pain


Upon completion of Session 3, participants should be able to:

  1. Evaluate the craniofacial pain patient for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
  2. Determine if oral appliance therapy for OSA is indicated and, if so, the type of appliance to prescribe.

By the end of Session 3, participants should be able to identify craniofacial patients at risk for sleep disordered breathing problems, understand how oral appliances function and the available therapies to mange OSA.
