Dear ,
My name is Dr. Kevin Mueller, and I am sending this message to you as the new president of the AACP.
I would first like to thank Dr. Cyndi Wiggins for the past two years’ leadership as president, and the outgoing executive and board members; Dr. Lynn Lipskis, Dr. Jeff McCarty, Dr. Stacy Cole, Dr. Daniel Klauer, and Dr. Carlos Wiesse.
I would like also to give Dr. Daniel Klauer a shout out for organizing a great meeting this past October in South Bend, Indiana. For those who were able to attend, we were thrilled with the quality and the relevance of the information presented.
While in Indiana, we concluded our first meeting with the new board. I am very excited about the energy and the goals that our board would like to achieve in the coming year, 2025 and beyond.
We know the post pandemic environment changed the demand and model for most annual meetings across the country. Members are asking for more online/self-study learning tools and targeted hands-on training to succeed in the current economy; AACP has stepped up to provide an online CE Classroom to meet this need. Meeting costs have also skyrocketed due to significant loss of revenue and staff the hospitality industry faced over that time. If you've been to the grocery store and have a family to care for you know the increase is substantial across all sectors.
In response, the academy’s leadership has chosen to (Continue Reading)

Dear AACP members,
It's a privilege for me to make you aware of the recent release of a book on craniofacial pain and temporomandibular joint disorders which highlights the works of my father in the field. I would direct your attention to the beginning of the book (foreword, preface, etc.) which recounts my fathers history as well as that of AACP.
I started to help my dad with this book prior to his passing. This project was left uncompleted with his death and I had committed to him that I would complete the work. This book represents my dad and my initial idea which was ably helped to come to pass with 2 co editors and multiple contributing authors. I hope you enjoy the history and cutting edge information the book contains.
Sincerely,
Brendan C. Stack, Jr., MD, FACS, FACE |
Dr. Stack, Sr., one of the original AACP founders and the organization's first president, is well-known to the AACP family. He is co-honored for his contributions to temporomandibular joint dysfunction and its impact on craniofacial pain and other disorders, with AACP's Haden-Stack Award. |
